Actually I just thought I fixed it. It turns out I can only resize by grabbing the center of the border. So the lower-right corner diagonal arrow doesn't work. Weird. I just installed Canary and use it instead of Chrome now and it works.

Sorry, they're not going to give you a SP3 if your SP2 breaks.

They were supposed to release the fix for the sd card/battery problem today.

Unless you want a bigger screen or the i7 I think you would be fine with a SP2.

The problem was how to tell if you're buying a 'new' unit or one that's been sitting on the shelves for 3 months. That's why I suggested looking at the 'lot number' threads.

I'm glad to see you still got a new unit. Obviously removing the partition didn't break your hard drive but it was nice of her letting you off the hook and even telling you how to return it to 'warranty condition'.

I couldn't replicate it either. I rarely use an sd card so I figure 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'. You'll get it in two weeks anyways on patch Tuesday.

I've found it wildly inconsistent, sometimes it takes a few minutes to update, sometimes it is near-instant. I just use Outlook 2013 or a browser instead.

My taskbar comes up when I drag the cursor along the bottom of the screen in metro mode. Have you tried rebooting?
