There was nothing wrong with your device - calibrating the pen yourself will make the tracking worse. Instead, you have to reset the calibration, rather than calibrating it yourself.

Absolutely not. 8.1 is better for tablet use, and I'd argue generally better all around even with the new features due to 8.1 being massively more reliable, silent and being far more efficient.

Do you use TouchMe Gesture studio or any type of gestures app? Sounds like you have a gesture set up to do this.

This is normal. The strip on the top of the screen is plastic, not magnesium, and this plastic strip is slightly bent.

If it is a PDF file, download Adobe Reader and try to open it using that.

I use AVG Internet Security 2015 without issues, and with great battery life. If it's a particular page in OneNote that won't sync, try copying the contents of the page into a new page and see if that syncs.

They are all pretty bad at the moment. They don't have 100% compatibility and they are very inefficient.

I'd recommend using OneNote in full screen. The new search needs work - Cortana is just slow and the speech recognition was horrendous. I'm sure they will sort it.

I found the new OneNote to be pretty bad. Images wouldn't resize at all and I had to keep tapping the screen with the eraser to erase stuff - pretty annoying. I'm safely restored to an image of my old 8.1 build now so pretty happy to have an efficient tablet again.

Thanks for responding. Seems like the preview isn't yet for me - using this device as a tablet is a bit of a pain at the moment. Hopefully they will sort this out soon, along with the absurd battery usage, but after today I'll be reverting to 8.1.

You're guaranteed to make an absolute mess. The whole device is glued together, and looks very tricky to take apart and put together. Send it Microsoft.
