Speaking of pen issues, is anyone finding that the pen doesn't always register when using the new input text panel (which I love btw)? Also the pen is a big hit or miss in the new OneNote preview. In OneNote 2013 it works just fine.

I just recently did a fresh install of 8.1 and my battery life has been stellar. I chose not to install chrome or Dropbox and I'm not sure if that made a difference. But I'm very happy with my results.

I have one charger at home and one at work. And I'm one of the weirdos that want a second one for the house. I need one for the bedroom and one for the living room and the I will be happy.

My Surface didn't go into suspend mode last night. It was in connected standby for 8 hours. Not sure why that is. But glad it's happening for you.

Fair enough that some people like it.. And maybe in desktop mode that feature is easier to scroll with a mouse wheel but in tablet mode, when you've got tons of apps and a big screen a little side scroll menu takes too long. And the type cover trackpad doesn't scroll smoothly or quickly enough...

Woke up with a dead Surface this morning. Knew we would have battery issues but didn't expect it to be this bad. Did a Sleep Study report and sure enough it was Cortana. Lost 27% while in connected standby. I disabled Cortana for now. Don't really need her.

So how do I share something from the metro version of One Note????? There is no more share charm.

Loving the changes thus far. One thing l find frustrating is using the search in tablet mode. The onscreen keyboard doesn't play nice with the search box. Also, I need to get used to no more charms menu. I keep swiping there to pull up the search screen.

Is anyone having issues syncing their OneNote items? I made an entry in the metro version on my SP3 and can't see it in the desktop version. There is an x next to my notebook in the metro app. Furthermore I can't login to OneNote on my Android device.

Finally got the update and the Surface Pro 3 won't connect. My Nexus 5 and Note 4 work. I guess those devices are whitelisted.

I'm having issues with the hdmi stick. Not sure what the issue is but sometimes the two devices won't connect and if it doesn't connect it's only briefly. And usually after this happens my WiFi has limited connection. Any ideas?

I had issues going back to 8.1. I'm pretty sure I just didn't understand the limitations. I made a USB recovery disk before I upgraded to 10 but when I tried to reset my machine from the recovery USB it kept saying media invalid. I called up tech support and was advised to try to download the...
