So what's your impression on battery life without connected-standby? Does the surface just need a little bit more or is the battery draining much faster?

Has anyone figured out how to download music to the local drive from Xbox Music? Just like the Zune desktop software does. I prefer to download music and then listen to them offline rather than streaming it.

Just select the song/album and click the download-button at the bar appearing at bottom.

I tried it again last night and there wasn't a download option.
