Why is OneDrive syncing so slow?

I have 50gb on my local OneDrive folder and it's been stuck at 900mb (1% done) for weeks....

Never had this problem w/ Dropbox

Are you attempting to sync any file that would be considered an executable (.exe, .cmd, .bat, .ps1)? These will not sync, also if the files and folders are too deep it can cause issues.

Open up OneNote and look for Sync Errors?

No .exe files? I have some .exe files in my OneDrive - says they are online only.

Recently, Microsoft lifted the ban on most executables on the consumer side, its still there on the Business Version.
