Which Surface Pro 3 is for me?

Okay, it just seemed like it.

While we are on the topic, do any of you know if the Surface Pro 3 uses the same HDMI adapter as the Surface Pro 2? Best Buy has one, but it says Surface and Surface 2 on it...no Surface 3.

Be careful with that... the adapters are different between Pro and RT (Surface 2, Surface RT). The MiniDisplayPort connector on the Pro models is a different size than the adapter connector for RT units. I think all the Pro Series use the same Adapters except for the power.

Confirmed on MS site their mini DP to HDMI adapter for all Pro series. also this adapter does not support 4k although the SP3 does.

That is the one from bestbuy...for Pro models it just doesn't mention Pro 3...

So if you wanted 4k support a third party mini DP to HDMI would be required... otherwise good to go.

I cant give you a personal recommendation as I haven't used one.

Searching there: Belkin not my favorite brand but more reviews and Cable Matters
Honestly, given this info id go with the Belkin. Nix that... Cable Matters.

Edit: Uh oH on further review it appears the Belkin doesn't actually support 4k resolution. Cable Matters looks to do it. but verify it before buying.
