Using Logitech Ultrathin T630 Mouse with SP2

I have been using a Logitech Ultrathin T630 mouse with my SP2 for a month or so now and have found it far superior to the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse I had been using earlier. The only problem that I find a bit aggravating with it, is the fact that, for some reason, while surfing the web or whatever, it wants to cause the SP2 to jump back to my desktop. I realize that tapping the T630 takes you back to the desktop and I really don't think I'm doing this inadvertently. Has anyone other than myself that might be using this mouse observed this?
I've posted this question on the Logitech forum, but I get the same lame answer:

"Our Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse T630 was designed to be used with computers only and that might be the reason is not working properly with your tablet.

It doesn't sound like they know what they're talking about. Did you read the manual?

I can get better tech support by asking one of our cats.

Logitech tech support is worse than terrible.
All they do is cut an paste general trouble shooting steps without paying any attention to your actual problem.
When I asked about this mouse they posted a bunch of garbage about checking to be plugged into the USB port properly etc. etc. and this thing DOES NOT work via USB.

They pay no attention at all to your problem just paste the same things in no matter what your problem is.

Why did you find it better? I was trying to decide between the T630 and the Arc Touch SE just days ago ... (eventually decided to go for the Arc because I'm not really used to such low height and "Apple-style" clicking feedback).

I like the easy way to go "back" which isn't there on the MS mouse, plus the ability to scroll upward and downward anywhere on the mouse's upper surface rather than having to feel for and find the narrow "scroll strip" in the middle of the MS mouse. Also, the Logitech mouse will let you scroll sideways and has a built-in rechargeable battery rather than using AAA's.

Indeed, nice arguments. Although by Apple-style click feedback I meant that the entire mouse "presses down" -- which I think the t630 does.

Yep, it is guilty of that, but I really haven't found this problematic. Perhaps a little different at first.

Weird issue, does it come with any software to install to maybe configure advanced options and turn off that tap to back you speak of?

I got the surface mouse with the bluetooth, works on everything except my couch...grrrrr. It's nice to use for traveling, packs well. I find the pointing accurate, seems to connect quickly and reliably to my surface, I just HATE the gimmicky clicking scrolling noise. I have no issues locating the scrolling strip. Once and a while on Yahoo's home page, the scrolling becomes really slow when using the mouse, but if I touch the screen to scroll, the page scrolls just fine. I'll have to admit that is the most I've ever spent on a mouse. I use it a few times a week and I've had it since the 2nd week in January and it's still on it's original batteries, I can hook up my SP2 to the TV about 15 feet away and the mouse works fine.

Weird. My T630 makes a very audible, mechanical click when pressed down. It's actually somewhat annoying (first world problem, I know).

Oh yes, it clicks when you depress it, it just doesn't produce the scrolling sound, or as MS calls it, "haptic" feedback that the Arc Touch mouse does.

To each his own, I suppose. I can't compare the Arc Surface to the Logitech, but after having gotten used to the Arc, I find it very intuitive and the scroll function is excellent. And yes, it packs very well.

Ah. l didn't know the Arc SE had haptics for scrolling. Maybe it's a good thing I changed my mind at the checkout and went for the T630 after all.
