I hope this is the case with my cover.

Anywho, I've contacted Microsoft via their chat and phone services and not only does it take FOREVER to get a representative to assist you, they refer you to their website which is of very little help. First and last Microsoft product for me!

First thing I'll point out is that you bought the device and accessory pre-owned. Second, call the Surface team for assistance.

Where did you buy this? ebay, amazon, Fast Eddies truck? do they have problem resolution or refund policy? I believe amazon and ebay do as long as it was not "as is".

Fake? How would you tell? They are all Made in China
