Touch screen problem

Hi all, and thanks in advance for reading this. I have a Surface Pro 3 which is 13 months old and has developed a problem with the touchpad. The top 3 cms (landscape view) of the screen does not respond to touch. This means that often I have to press the start button to escape a page, or use the keyboard. Thankful that I have the keyboard!

Please say this is isn't the end of my Surface Pro ?

I wouldn't say it's the end but it does sound like a hardware issue that would require a repair. Did you purchase complete with your Surface?

Complete is an extended warranty. If you needed to ask you probably didn't get it. I would contact Microsoft support.
