surface pro pen right / left button not working

my 100 euro surface pro pen with buttons near the pen tip does not work. I can point and right wit it but the buttons are not working on my surface pro 2017
- have deleted device from blue tooth and repaired
- have latest firmware installed
What should I do? Any help available?

I have edited your thread, the "How to" prefix is reserved for guides and tutorials.

I had such an issue with my original surface pro 3 pen. I contacted Microsoft, and they sent me a new one and I got to keep the old one. Strangely a month or so later, the faulty pen started working perfectly again. How long ago did you buy the pen? Might be worth contacting the seller or manufacturer, but hopefully someone with more software knowledge than me will be around soon. Have you tried uninstall ong the pen drivers in device manager?

I bought the pen 3 weeks ago.
Microsoft is not responding so I guess it's a common problem.
Trashing 100 euro is already something.
No customer service is another thing.

I've had nothing but great customer service from Microsoft (always fastest to go via live chat on their website). If it is only 3 weeks old then simply contact them and say you want a replacement because it is faulty, as is you legal right.
