Surface Pro 3 Windows 10 update

I have a Surface Pro 3 which went kaput after a Windows 10 update.
When I open it, it shows the Surface Icon and then switches to SETUP, after a restart it goes thru the same procedure again and again. I can't seem to get it do anything else.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your post is extremely timely for me. After months of apprehension, I finally bought a Win 10 license for my SP3 yesterday. I had very difficult Win 10 upgrades with three other devices and don't want to risk problems with my SP3.

The two devices that survived their upgrade are now operating fairly well, so I though I'd give Win 10 a go on my SP3. Your post revived my apprehensions.

I want to hear how you solve your current problem. I'd also like to hear about your other experiences with Win 10, and the experiences of others who upgraded their SP3s.
