Surface Book temp and fan noise

Hey everyone,

I've spent a week now with the Book and, fortunately, I've been spared of most of the issues that many people have had. But the one thing that's bothering me is the loud fan noise that kicks in when the cpu temp goes over 60.

It doesn't take much to get the fans going, a youtube video or twitch stream. With just a few tabs in firefox, outlook and couple documents open, the cpu temp goes over 70, is that normal? The fans at full speed are seriously loud, anyone else have that?

I don't think I have ever heard them kick in.

But then I am half deaf to begin with.

Yes, fan is on for me, too.

I only started to realize it later on by the end of last week, as I was finishing up my migration from my SP2. So I'm thinking--for now--that whatever it is I installed towards the end of the week may be the trigger.
