Surface 3 one year later display problem

I broke down and got a 8gb/256gb Samsung TabPro S on sale ($799). So far really impressed, and charges through USB C so my USB high power chargers and external batteries work.

Yes, I am thinking of that too. Still, I have the option to have the device replaced... And perhaps Microsoft comes with an ARM based Surface 4 or 5 in the coming year. For now I'll wait and see...

And just before 2017 will start I have received the fourth Surface 3 for this year. It is in pristine condition! Really great!

Was wondering: other people that do experience this issue: do you have a 128GB version or a 64GB? And is it the one with 2GB or 4GB RAM?

Does anyone else have this issue?
Yes! At first I thought it was some type of 'galaxy' effect on the startup screen, but it persists after the desktop is loaded, especially noticeable in black areas of the screen.

No, this is no effect, but a defect. At least nice to see Microsoft agrees with this as I am currently on my fourth Surface 3!
