Suddenly can't swipe from right to bring up charms?

My Surface Pro 2, which has been working just fine for the last 6 months, for some reason after putting it to sleep and waking it, won't respond to swipe from the right to bring up the charms. I can still swipe from the left to bring up the background processes.

I haven't changed any settings at all, and this was a few weeks after the July updates, so I can't figure out why it stopped working for no reason. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to test if this a hardware issue or software?

Reset your touch calibration in the Tablet Control Panel and see if that fixes it....

I fixed my own problem... I went to the device manager, uninstalled the touch screen HID device, and had Windows do a "scan for hardware changes". That reinstalled the touch screen driver and fixed the problem!

I tried Gadget Gourmet's fix, but it didn't help. Then I reset the touch calibration, but still no luck.
