Solved Stylus acting odd - Words spread

When I try to write on Onenote with my stylus with the HDMI cable connected to my Mini Display Port, the words spread. Any idea why this is happening?

I have never heard of this specific issue. I would try all the usual things- un-pair and re-pair the pen, change batteries, etc.

You're positive that is has something to do with being plugged into HDMI?

Thanks for the quick response. I had two stylus connected to the Surface Pro 3. Now I deleted one of them. Now both are working and the writing is perfect. ( I did not pair it again).

Could you elaborate on the phrase 'words spread' ?
Do you mean like Agent Smith in the Matrix???
