Even with headphones your SP is too quiet? That's odd. Mine is loud enough.

What is your headphone? I use an Altec MZX406 IEM with 100dB sensitivity and the volume I listen to is 50. It will also depend how loud your digital media files are recorded.

Im talking youtube and netflix. Netflix i turn it up around 80. Some youtube videos all the way up isnt loud enough.

I use Bose mie2 in ear headphones, it hear well at 20-25, plus they have great sound quality and bass

So grateful for the tip! I was initially really disappointed with the Surface Pro speakers because they were noticeably quieter than the Acer W700 tablet speakers. They are reasonably louder now.
