Skype Desktop connection with people contacts

The metro Skype automatically dialed my contacts when their phone number was selected.

I can't get this to happen with the desktop Skype.

Anyone know how to make this happen?

In addition to this the store continues to allow the download of the metro Skype....but it is not functional....

This is really weird... but it's still working perfectly for me! (on Windows 8.1) have no idea why, as no one seems to be able to do the same lol. Just updated to Windows 10 though so we'll see how it plays out.
