I usually wait and hope to see some kind of video or review that shows the game being played. Have bought some games which I found boring or just did not like. Sometimes if you wait a few months the game price is cut in half and all the updates are already added. Why be a beta tester at full price! lol Had good luck with some free games that I would have paid for if they charged.
I have not used console games much like the Xbox, but it amazes me the money the kids (and plenty of adults) shell out for those games at $40-$60 a pop. Then again if you enjoy it then price should not matter, until you get the bill the following month!
