I recently purchased my Surface Pro 3 i7 512gb tablet. While working on it, I noticed the lower left side of the screen was significantly less sensitive than the rest of the screen.
After much research and troubleshooting, I found that it only happens when I am running from the battery. As soon as I plug my device in to the power outlet, sensitivity returns. The moment I unplug the device, the problem returns. I have found that the problem is replicable via this method, but the sensitivity intermittently returns when on battery mode, but just as quickly disappears again.
I researched my power settings and made them both identical between battery mode and power mode, but it made no difference. I am using a custom power profile which gives maximum performance settings in both powered and battery mode. Changing back to balanced mode seems to have no effect.
I have searched online and cannot seem to find anyone else having this problem. Can anyone help?
