Répétition key on touch keyboard

Hi all,

The touch keyboard is not perfect!

My new problem :
When i use the touch keyboard,
It write repetition keys, like this

Anngrryyy.

Not regulary, only sometimes,
But often,

I tried all parameters i can :
- Repetition keys,
- Surface calibration
- remove film protection
- double click mouse parameter
- check stylus on an other same tablet (the problem is only on my tablet)
- desactivate prediction
....

If i write very slowly, there is no repetition,

But i write normaly, i have reepeetittionnn !

Does someone have had this problem?

The tablet is new!

I'm waiting answer for a long time...
Like you can see on the forum support, i restore all the tablet.
I remove screen film, test other stylus, restore all,
Always the same problem!
Then i think it is a material problem.
I don't understand why microsoft support do not answer to me...
Not very good support and garanty..

What do you think about?

Hello all,

I come back about repetition keys when using stylus with on screen keyboard.

It seem there is a problem with the last update.
All persons i know who have a surface pro 4 have now the same problem,

I have check on a shop with new surface pro 4,
Before update all is ok, no repetition key,
I update 3 surface pro 4 in the shop,
All 3, after update have the problem.

Please, does some persons can check update their surface and check to write on notepad.
(With the stylus on screen keyborad, not the finger)

Only write (azertyuiopqsdfghjklwxvbn) and check if some key are repeated

Thanks a lot for your help,

I just tested your proposal,
I tried to change windows language and keyboard (I have tried 5 differents languages and keyboards)
I've tried the keyboard in multiple area, turn the tablet, landscape or not, move the keyboard, delete the update...
Same problem!

My windows version is 1709/ 16299.15

Like you can read upper, all the French tablet I have tested have the same problem.
I have tried with many tablets and many pens.

When the tablet is new, started for the first time, just out of the box and started, there is not the problem,
But immediately updates done, the repetition appears,
Microsoft exchange my tablet and sent me a new one with same problem.

I'm lost!

Tried the repetition letter combo. No issue on my pro 5.
Have you tried factory reset?
Have considered a third swap for another surface pro?
Have you considered upgrading to pro 5?
Have you considered help from microsoft support?

Factory reset? yes sure the first thing i tried,

Microsoft waiting for a third swap and ask me to do a lot of test.
I'm working for them since one month!!
"Please, try this and try this, are you try this, try to do this...."
Very bad garanty service.

I ask them for replace it again, but they don't want,
It seems microsoft prefer the bad advertising on forum.

Yes sure i talk with microsoft and microsoft support tell me "waiting the spring update, no date for the moment, you must waiting"

Since 3 month now that i have a thid tablet surface pro 4, and i can't use it correctly and must search myself and test,
Do you imagine the lost time for me and my company!
It is absolutely not normal and not want waiting more long time,
My company will use the law for Microsoft move,
Microsoft must replace the tablet by a functional one, but they don't.

It seems that new update have solved the repetition key problem.
