Question mark key not working on type cover

A couple weeks ago the question mark key on my surface pro 4's type cover has stopped working. As far as I can see all other keys are working and I cannot find concrete advice on how to fix it and the problem is persisting. I have tried removing the type cover and checking if there is any dust in the nooks and crannies and reattach it, but no change.
What can I do to fix this issue...(can't put in a question mark)

If your type cover can be attached / used backwards, try that. Does the question mark key work when backwards?

The type cover on my SP3 did that for a key or two in the past. I blew air hard under the key to make sure debris wasn't in there. Fixed it.

Thanks, I tried that but none of the keys work when I attach it backwards....

Does the key work when shifted at all?
If not, the circuit is very likely broken, and repair not possible.
