Pen question

I don't intend to use the pen for writing or drawing. When my Surface Pro 3 comes is there any reason for me to set up and pair the pen? My only uses will be e-mailing and web surfing when traveling. Thanks for any info

I would pair it as its very quick and simple and you might end up using more than you think. And if you don't then its better to have it and not need it.rather than needing it and not having it.

Doesn't matter either way. It won't affect anything if you don't pair it, but on the other hand pairing takes all of 10 seconds.
