Offline News Content

I know all about the "read offline" setting in options when using the News App. However, it does not save content as it is NOT available when I have no internet access. I'm sure it did before last updates am I imaging it!
So what does the "offline Option" actually do?

Welcome to the Forum.

I believe the offline function gives you the ability to read Kindle Books. One would think that MS would have expanded this to other areas of the Pro2. Perhaps in the future.

Why would the offline setting in the Microsoft News app's own preferences have anything to do with Kindle books?

OP, it doesn't work for me either!
