Anyone else missing the Get Windows 10 icon on the task bar?

I downloaded the Windows 10 troubleshooter from this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3081048

It says that my version of Windows is inelligible for the upgrade. I have Windows 8.1 Pro. Anyone know what's going on or have the same issue?

Just ran the troubleshooter again and it says I am missing KB2976978

When I navigate to the page to get the update, it lets me add the update to my 'basket' but then no option to download? It's weird. It suggests I need to restart for the update to install but still nothing.

Just got off chat with MS Support.

I went into troubleshooting and systems and security and fix problems with windows update. It fixed two issues.

Then i ran a check for windows updates and in the optional updates i was asked to check ALL optional files.

The KB297... was on the list too. I was asked to install and restart so lets see what happens

Thanks for the alternatives, if this doesnt work, i will try

I now have the app, but trying to install Windows 10 is troublesome. Clicking the direct link above I get the 'something happened' notification an that's it :/
