Minidisplayport HDMI 4K

Since Microsoft does not currently offer a mini displayport to HDMI adapter with 4K support.

Does anyone know any third party adapters that work well with 4K?

I searched the forums and didn't find much.

Apple sells one I think. I haven't used it personally.

Interesting, be carefull here. I read some people on that website that the cheap version doesn't work that well and you should look for an active device like the apple one suggested.

Thanks iDatus! I went ahead and bought the Acell adapter. It works like a charm. No software or drivers needed. I haven't tried linking it to a 4K t.v. yet because I will soon be purchasing one in the near future.

However at $25 it definitely trumps the adapter from Microsoft, and it includes 4K support. Hopefully it works with my 4K t.v. when I get it.
