Microsoft's Surface 3 is Now Available in Several Global Markets Starting at $499

Microsoft's latest tablet is now available. The Surface 3 is up for grabs in several different markets across the globe. You can pick it up on Microsoft's online store, Amazon, or several other retailers. It's on sale in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.

On May 7, the Surface 3 will be available to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Here's a quote from Microsoft on the new Surface 3:

This is the price for the non-pro version of the Surface product, which is less expensive. The Surface Pro 3 (and the upcoming Surface Pro 4) are still in the $800 range and up.
