Microsoft Store Grand Opening question

There's a new Microsoft Store opening in my area. Has anyone here gone to a launch party? Is it worth attending? I'm not sure if I can convince anyone I know to go with me so I'm not sure if waiting in line would be much fun by myself.

They have drawings for prizes like Xbox One Bundles, Jambox Bluetooth Speakers, etc.. They typically have gift bags for the first 100-500 that has Microsoft SWAG; like mugs, water bottles, t-shirts, etc. Some celebrity guests and one to two musical acts...

They also tend have some level of door buster sales and food....lots of food.
