Keyboard auto showing

Guys, new to the forum. Just took delivery of an i7 256 GB SSD Pro 3 and living it so far. The one thing that really annoys me is that, when in desktop mode, the keyboard will not come up automatically when I go to type in an email address in Outlook or type in a url in the internet browser. Is there a setting to enable this?

Go to greatis.com and look at auto pop up keyboard. Its a cool app that works really well... Only place it doesn't work is on a webpage internet explorer

unfortunately yes. It will be fixed come windows 10

i think it depends on whether the app requests for the keyboard to pop up or not. I noticed that this happens in some apps, then they get updated and all of a sudden the keyboard pops up now.
