I can't wait for edge to have extensions as I prefer blocking ads per application and would rather than modifying hosts file. As of now, I'm using IE + TPL but I don't like Chrome since it eats more RAM and CPU than IE. Edge without ad blocking will kill half of battery life at least.
On my 4 GB RAM SP3, with 8 tabs in IE (see task manager process) + downloading video in the background + playing mp3 music via Groove in the background, I only consume 1.68 GB of RAM and 3% CPU usage @ 0.85 GHz. Doing the same tasks in Chrome would consume upwards of 3 GB of RAM plus slightly higher CPU usage.
