Peltiers are still pretty inefficient no? Be burning off more battery life on the Peltier module than the CPU that way.

Yea, I guess that would be a problem, battery life is always going to be a major issue until someone invents an entirely new power storage system. A little fan noise and air blowing is preferable to a definite hotspot to avoid touching....
