I was intrigued by that write up and went and looked at Manga Studio. It looks like you can buy Manga Studio 5 on sale right now for $48, then upgrade to the EX version for $105, representing a total outlay of about $155. The outright purchase price (on sale) of Manga Studio 5 EX is $210. Weird. But, if anyone is interested, it might be a good way to save $60.

I've read that guy's blog a few times actually and he's actually replaced the Surface Pro with something more dedicated now... still seems to do a good job though! If only I could actually draw.
