Help! Type cover key fell off!

Hi all,

My type write key number 5 and 6 drop off while i am using it normally. Can i check if i can exchange it for a new one(it is still under warranty) or i have to purchase a new one, Thank you!

If you have a Microsoft Store you can go to I'm fairtly certain if they don't see any other damage they would exchange it. You could also try by calling Microsoft support but it may be more difficult if they can't see it. The Microsoft "complete" coverage would absolutely have covered it. All you can do is try.

Even if no store is in your area. Call Support, they will more than likely allow an in warranty exchange.

I've done it with a MS Ergo Keyboard just a couple years back. Turn around was very fast. They sent me a good one and let me keep the bad one.

There are so few Apples as compared o Windows machines that I don't think there would be near as many comments or questions on an Apple forum.
