Just got myself a Surface Pro due to the very tempting offers. I'd been looking for a ThinkPad X220, but a Surface Pro for £359 with the touch cover is just as portable and much better value.
Very impressed so far, copes very well with everything I've thrown at it although battery life is slightly disappointing. Metro finally makes some sense - it's terrible on a desktop but works very well on the Surface.
I can only assume Microsoft has masses of unsold stock - it's got a build date of May last year and the battery was flat as a pancake. Took me a few minutes to twig it wouldn't get Windows updates because the date was set to last year!
