DoD CAC card usage

Hey, I was wondering, (I already searched the site), if anyone has gotten a DoD CAC card to work with the surface? I know the VPN client can work. However, I need the CAC card to work.

You'll need CAC Reader, either USB or Bluetooth...

Thanks, I have no problem connecting it. The SP3 just refuses to recognize it. I'm wondering if anyone know the correct or updated drivers to use; thanks!

Which card reader are you using? HID?

It's a Navy contractor card, newest series, just got it 1 month ago. We use the readers on Dells running windows 7.

You'll need a Windows 8.x driver for that we need a brand or something...
