displays shrinking between changing apps

When I turned on my SP2 this morning and booted up my usual programs for work, every time I switch between an app (excel to outlook, to edge, etc). the new app I navigate to opens in about a 90% capacity then blows up to full size. It's very distracting and annoying. Can any one help me with why this happened and how I can fix it?

Sounds like you installed a program that restores your window when you click on it or does funny things.
Did you install or used any tweak tool on the system, did you scan for malware? (I recommend the free: Malwarebytes), check for viruses as well.
Did you install any other software since the problem appeared?

If the problem just started to appear, look into using System Restore (search form it in the Start menu search box to jump directly to it), to go back in time with your system before teh issue arrised. It should not affect your personal files, but I would back them up just in case (beside backups doesn't hurt).
