Discoloration around Charging Port

Has anyone experienced this discoloration around the charging port? It almost looks like the surface is chipping, I'm assuming from the heat of the connection?

Yeh, plugging in the charger seems to slowly scratch it.

Yep, I have the same problem. Shit quality, and not well designed connector

Well that sucks, now I'm rethinking getting a skin for my Pro. I don't really like any of the skins though.

I just put a Skinomi on mine, and even with it can still scratch. The skin isn't that custom fit to perfectly fit around the charger.
