Default pen

Is there some way of changing the pen setting for the pen button click OneNote? Right now it's a thin black pen but I would prefer a thicker blue pen.

In Metro OneNote, you can change pen by using the radial menu. You should see it near the top right corner of the screen when you have the pen close to the screen. Tap it and you can change pen colours and thickness.

Thank you, I'm actually aware of that, but the next time I click the top to open a quick note when the Surface is off, it still defaults to a thin black pen.

Interesting, mine does the same when I normally use medium black. I think this is something Microsoft will have to try to fix.

Has there been any updates on this? Seems pointless taking quick notes with locked metro onenotes if it is in a skinny black pen that can never be changed. What were they thinking.
