Daily updates coming out the ying yang!

Looking at the update history on my Surface, MS seems to have missed only one day without any type of update in the last month. Most are for Defender, but several other kinds, too.

This isn't a complaint, and the constant updates don't get in my way very much, but I'm curious as to why they can't send something out in a weekly bundle instead. Bi-weekly?

Are things really moving that fast, or is this merely a way for MS to show off?

Have you heard of Patch Tuesday? I thought updates were meant to be once a month

Yes, I had thought updates were weekly until I looked at the update log. There are dates attached to each that indicate when they were installed.

I'm set up for automatic updates, so I'm usually not aware when it's happening.
