Solved Cross Compatibility of Type Covers

Hi there,

I've just purchased a Surface 2 and am wanting to get a Type cover. I was wondering if the type covers for the Pro models are usable for the Surface 2? The main reason is I much prefer the colours of these ones so it's not a big deal if not, I was just wanting to find out before I shelled out for one!!

The Touch/Type covers are interchangeable and compatible with all Surfaces, size notwithstanding.

The Power cover works as a keyboard on all models but the Power only works with Surface 2 and all Pro models.

welcome and congrats on the Surface 2 (S2) yes I can vouch that the Type covers work as I had the S2 before and they worked great... I'm sure you will enjoy your new device
