I have a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1.
Recently, I have had problems with it being confused about whether it is a tablet or a PC. Sometimes when I try to use it as a PC, it refuses to recognize either my attached keyboard or my bluetooth mouse. It only responds to the touch screen and the on-screen keyboard pops up. At times, the screen also comes up in portrait mode even though it's sitting on my desk with the keyboard attached propped up by the kickstand. Most of the time these problems are fixed by shutting off and restarting the machine. Some times they aren't.
What gives? Has anyone else had these problems?
