Article Stating Weak Microsoft Surface Sales......What Do You Think?

Its somewhat strange. People quoting the Android vs iOS fight count all Android devices. Why is that Surface is getting special treatment.
I dont think MS was very optimistic about sales to begin with. The Surface was and is meant to be a reference Tablet for OEM's et al.
Additionally even now their retail channels are very limited. With fairly modest shipments.

I have no way of telling how the Surface is selling nationally or internationally, but I recently dealt with two different Best Buys to purchase a Surface (the purchase is the subject of another post, and was not a pleasant experience) and in both stores I was told that they only had one left. Might be salesman BS or maybe they had very few to begin with, but it made me think they were selling well.
