One of my many hobbies is Amateur Radio. I realize I can't download to the surface..How does one go about getting a program on the Surface?

Edit: Wait, I think you're talking about a radio program and not an application program. My bad.

In that case, I don't know. Depends on the format, I imagine, and maybe you can edit the file type handler in IE to download instead of stream.

if I understand you correctly, you will then need to purchase the SURFACE PRO or PRO 2 to download the program and install it, as the Surface 2 does not install legacy apps meaning X86 programs don't work on Surface 2.
