Why? if you buy a surface or a surface 2 you might as well buy an iPad. They're all useless. Buy a Surface pro or pro 2 or there is no point, unless you just want to be part of the marketing scheme of giving money away. Up to you.

Advantages of the Surface 2 over the Surface Pro 2:

• 14-16 hours of Battery Life
• Hardened OS (Currently not impacted by virus or malware)
• Better Enterprise VOIP and/or Video Conference Client
• Thinner and Lighter
• Office is included at no additional cost
• Half the Price
• More stability due to not having to deal with 3rd Party Win32 Code Rot

Not everyone needs or wants to run legacy software....

I can't imagine not having my iPad to be honest. It's lightweight when i'm laying in bed, no fans no noise to wake up the lady.. I can control my TV, Security cameras and all the lights in my house as I surf the web... Pretty friggin USEFUL if you ask me
