A kickstand refit for existing Surface Pro's?

Sorry folks. According to the kickstand patent, the design looks like it would require a different body and maybe internals to accomplish. Don't think this will ever be feasible.

Disappointing that MS could not have come up with such a simple and obviously beneficial design in the first iteration. Does MS EVER get anything right the first time?

It still might be possible to open up the case and replace the entire mechanism, but I gather MS glued it shut. Any word on that?
