8.1 update?

I thought the update was going live today? I've searched and searched but can't find out why it didn't go live, does anyone have any info?
Edit: In order to receive the update you have to first install a few other updates, restart then check again, it should be there, all 887mbs of it...

I have a codec update (13mb) that has failed to install for months. I wonder if that's holding it up.
