I have a very annoying issue with my new Surface Pro connected through dock with 4K external monitor. Have been breaking my head about but don't have any ideas left..
Microsoft Surface Pro - i7 - 8 GB - 256 GB
MICROSOFT Surface Dock
AOC Q2577PWQ (2560 x 1440 60 Hertz)
Club 3D Mini DisplayPort to Displayport Cable
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - i5 - 4 GB - 128 GB
MICROSOFT Surface Dock
AOC Q2577PWQ (2560 x 1440 60 Hertz)
Club 3D Mini DisplayPort to Displayport Cable
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - i5 - 4 GB - 128 GB
MICROSOFT Surface Dock
Samsung LU28H750UQUXEN (3840 x 2160 / 60 Hertz)
Club 3D Mini DisplayPort to Displayport Cable
These 3 configurations work without any problems.
Microsoft Surface Pro - i7 - 8 GB - 256 GB
MICROSOFT Surface Dock
Samsung LU28H750UQUXEN (3840 x 2160 / 60 Hertz)
Club 3D Mini DisplayPort to Displayport Cable
In this configuration the external monitor blacks out for a couple of seconds randomly a couple of times per hour. Showing on screen [Displayport] indicating it doesn’t get signal.
So excluded is defect on monitors, cable or dock since the all work fine combined with my (old) Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - i5 - 4 GB - 128 GB leaving the Microsoft Surface Pro - i7 - 8 GB - 256 GB as the source for the issue. I did all the updates (for Surface itself and Windows). Deleted the display firmware and reinstalled. All without effect.
Don’t know what to do about it anymore. Please help!
