I have a Surface RT and like it more every week. I take notes in meetings, read email and edit SharePoint documents. Also use Lync. For me it is perfect. Long battery life, instant on, reasonable weight. VMware will have View client out by March so you can run i386 apps virtually. Chip

FOUND A WORK AROUND!! If you go into the desktop on Surface RT and run IE from the desktop you CAN EDIT SharePoint documents. For whatever reason Microsoft choose to no create the needed hooks into the Metro version if IE the desktop version works--clear as mud, I know. But there IS a WORK...

If your Surface has not already downloaded it (it is about 580 meg) you can go to Windows Update and manually download\install. It is faster compared to what shipped originally on the Surface...so last Friday:-). Chip

If any of the Surface Development team read this forum I would like to thank them for the excellent job in designing and building the Surface. Components and fit/finish are amazing. Can stand the Surface up in landscape or portrait mode with kickstand.

A workaround for the Comcast pop email proble. Can you forward you Comcast email to another account that works with the Surface email client such as Exchange, Gmail, Live, etc.?

Also thought it was neat that the Windows button vibrates when you touch it. The kickstand is well made and solid. It also lets you set the Surface up in landscape or portrait mode.
