Very true - which I am VERY good about. The only thing I currently have installed on my computer is Quicken, Office 365, and SolidWorks, and Macrium Reflect. Nonetheless, it is nice to have a good program that I know will truly uninstall everything if need be.

True...although if it is true that the free version can't do 64 bit then I would think I would need the Pro version - if it can then by all means I won't be paying for it.

Interesting - it looks like there are quite a few differences from their website...including I think you need the paid version for 64bit programs...also a better algorithm for deleting files, etc

Alright I will use a combination of the things you mentioned: 1. CCleaner 2. Disk Cleanup 3. Manually cleaning temp folders As far as the temp folder, what is the best way to access those and which ones are you referring to?

Yea I think I am going to by Revo Uninstaller Pro - everyone seems to speak highly of it. Do you think it is worth using/having CCleaner? Or should I just stick with Disk Cleanup and cleaning the temp folders (which I am not sure how to do, but I can do a little more research)?

Thanks guys - I just prefer not to install things on my PC unless absolutely needed. I will definitely download Malewarebytes. I recall Bit Defender Free being the highest "ranked" free antivirus so I may go down that route if I decide to not use Defender.

I am guessing that using /diskpart to clean my SSD before a clean install will get rid of the Bitlocker partition? If so, is this a bad thing? If it is, what is the best way to clean my SSD without deleting the Bitlocker portion?

Thanks Charlie for the information! I will just delete the partitions then for this clean install. Now if I ever did/want a Secure Erase what program would you recommend? I have a Crucial M4 SSD and Crucial doesn't seem to have their own program (like Samsung or a few others have).
