    I just started fooling around with the onscreen keyboard in the windows accessibility options. It partially meets requirements (very sizable) but its hard to toggle and obviously does not support swipe. There are multiple options however.

    I would really love to have a mini pop-up keyboard. By mini, I mean 3 or so inches wide ...with semi transparency...and that pops up next to the input field. This would be particularly useful in pen mode. I find the current keyboards very clumsy.

    I bought the Plugable and so far it has been rock solid. We'll see how well the dock is received next month. IMHO though, the argument against the Plugable being more future proof is that it lacks display port so will not support higher resolutions. Device agnostic though is a plus.
