I'd bet even money that the Yoga that you saw was the Yoga 2 Pro. They came in i5 and i7 configurations. The Yoga 3 Pros are all Core M. Frankly the Yoga 2 Pro is a better machine overall imo.

For me it depends on where i'm reading. If I'm in a chair/recliner, then the SP3 is just fine and I do it quite a bit. But if I'm in bed reading I use my iPad Air2 because it is lighter and smaller. And if I'm really feeling lazy in bed, I use the Nook e-ink reader.
